David McHugh is the founder and CEO of ProAir Heat Recovery Ventilation systems, Ireland’s only manufacturer of MVHR systems. David has a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a lifetime of experience in the ventilation industry, pioneering the development of the sector in Ireland. David is Chairman of the Residential Ventilation Association of Ireland and a guest lecturer with TUS and ATU on the subject of mechanical ventilation.

Francis Rilley Specification Manager, Unilin Insulation. Francis joined Xtratherm, now Unilin Insulation, in 2017 and provides specification and technical support in Ireland. Francis with the support of the technical team regularly support self-build projects, advising on both regulation and legislation issues along with optimum fabric choices on projects. Francis has also recently completed a Passive House Designer course and can now also advise on how to achieve your low energy home.

Michael Broderick, a former Army Officer, joined the NTMA in 2006 where he held a number of different roles in the NDFA and NAMA. Michael was the Interim CEO of HBFI from April 2019 to September 2019 and held the role of Chief Commercial Officer until January 2022. In February 2022 he was appointed as Interim CEO of the First Home Scheme and is currently CEO. Michael holds an MBA from the UCD Smurfit Business School and a Diploma in Company Direction from the IOD (Institute of Directors).
