Walls: Cavity block walls with 150mm cavity, 110mm phenolic board insulation, U-value 0.15W/sqmK
Floors: 135mm phenolic board insulation in standard build up giving U-value of 0.11W/sqmK. 200mm concrete hollowcore first floor structure. Liquid screed upstairs and sand and cement screed downstairs. Ceilings on ground floor inside the envelope have 37mm insulated plasterboard to prevent heat from rising upstairs (to prevent bedrooms getting too warm).
Roof: Cut roof with clay tiles. 65mm phenolic board on ceiling of envelope with spray foam and mineral wool. U-values ranging from 0.10 to 0.13W/ sqmK.
Windows: uPVC triple glazed windows, U-value of 0.8W/sqmK (frames and glass). Composite front door, uPVC rear door, aluclad lift and slide door.
