Selfbuild Ireland is a leading resource for self-build and home improvement in Ireland. Through expert advice, exhibitions, magazines, and online tools, we guide homeowners and self-builders from initial planning to the completion of their dream home.

History

Selfbuild was founded in 1995 by Clive and Gillian Corry, following their own experience of building a home. During the process, they discovered a lack of accessible resources, advice, and information for self-builders, especially when it came to products, materials, and expert guidance. Recognising that most self-builders, like themselves, were not construction professionals, Clive and Gillian set out on a mission to support others in building, extending, or renovating their dream homes. Through Exhibitions in the four provinces of Ireland, a magazine printed quarterly and more recently a dedicated website, we now help thousands of Self-Builders, Extenders & Renovators every year across Ireland meet suppliers, see lots of different products and materials and get expert advice and inspiration from the beginning to the end of their project.
